Wushu, or Chinese Kungfu, is a hard and soft and complete martial art, as well as a full-contact sport. It has a long history in reference to Chinese martial arts.

• Athlete Babulu Munda of Pumas Barbil, Keonjhar bagged Silver Medal at 7th World Junior Wushu Championship, Brasilia, Brazil 2018 and Silver Medal at 10th Asian Junior Wushu Championship, Darusalem, Brunei  2018

• Master Pradyumna Behera and Ms. Subhashree Patnaik represented INDIA at 4th Asian Wushu Championship, Manila, Philipines-1996 

• Pumas Student Master Ashis Chakraborty represented INDIA as one of the youngest participant in World Wushu Championship at Baltimore,USA-1995

• Pumas Main branch students - Master Manas Ranjan Chowdhury, Master Puspa Mishra and Ms. Ipsita Jena participated in the World Wushu Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - 1993.

• Master Puspa Mishra along with Grandmaster Harichandan participated in Asian Wushu Championship at Seoul, South Korea-1992.
